Geneva (Switzerland), Sep 25 (ANI): Supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech delivered in Calicut yesterday, chief of the United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP) Shaukat Ali Kashmiri said Pakistan should stop shielding terrorism if it wishes to sustain in the world. Adding that the country is a safe haven for terrorists, the UKPNP leader called on the Pakistan nationals to raise voice against the government. PM Modi, while addressing at the BJP National Council Meeting, said that a day will come when people of Pakistan will go against their own government to fight against terrorism.
Geneva, Switzerland, Sep 25 (ANI): Speaking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in which he said that he won't forget the Uri terror attack, Pakistani author and analyst Tarek Fatah on Sunday asserted that he don't think that Modi's speech would have any effect on the Pakistan Military government as they don't take anything seriously. Fatah further said that unless and until Pakistan feels the heat directly, there will be hardly any change in their attitude. He also pointed out that India must take stand on Indus water.
Birgunj, Nepal, Sep 24 (ANI): A group of contractual teachers who resorted to protests on Saturday, burnt the copies of 8th amendment bill at Birgunj's clock tower. The teachers have been opposing the bill that makes it mandatory for them to appear for an exam before they are made permanent. The agitation has fumed up from last two days.

He added that India's main concern was terrorism and that the international community needs to focus on counter terrorism.

Geneva, Sep 23 (ANI): Baloch representative at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Mehran Marri on Friday demanded Pakistan Military Generals who were behind massacres in Balochistan should be taken to International criminal courts and should be hanged for their crimes. Marri, who attended a silent vigil where the protesters condemned Pakistan for the ongoing atrocities, added that they are there to pay homage to the victims of 'Kill and dump' policy of the Pakistan Government.

Geneva, Sep 23 (ANI): While paying homage to the people killed in Balochistan outside the UNHRC, European Parliament Vice President Ryszard Czarnecki said the issue of Balochistan no longer remained an internal matter of Pakistan. He said the European Union Parliament and other members would surely be reacting on this brutal operation and policy of government there. The EU Vice President added that if policies for Baluchistan weren't changed, then they would change their attitude towards Pakistan.

New York, Sep 22 (ANI): Appealing to the Security Council to honour its commitments by implementing its own decisions, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday night said that General Assembly must demand that India deliver on the commitments its leaders solemnly made on many occasions. He called for the exercise of the right to self-determination by the people of Jammu and Kashmir through a free and fair plebiscite held under UN auspices. Stating that the people of Kashmir have waited 70 years for implementation of this promise, Sharif added that steps should be taken by the United Nations to demilitarise Jammu and Kashmir and undertake consultations with India, Pakistan and true representatives of the Kashmiri people to implement the resolutions of the Security Council.
