Kabul (Afghanistan), July 23 (ANI): Twin suicide bombings in Kabul on Saturday left at least 61 people dead and 207 injured in Kabul. Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for the attack. Nearly two explosions rocked the Deh Mazang Circle in Kabul. The attack in Deh Mazang square targeted thousands from the Shia Hazara minority who were protesting over a new power line, saying its route bypasses provinces where many of them live.

The participants, including a minor girl, held banners and raised slogans for 'freedom', highlighting the human rights violations being committed in the resource-rich province of Pakistan. The protesters said they will be highlighting the human rights violations that Pakistan has been committing in Balochistan since its forceful occupation in 1948. Wuerzburg (Germany), July 19 (ANI): A 17-year-old Afghan refugee wielding an axe and a knife attacked passengers on a train in Bavaria, Germany on Monday, which led to several people being critically wounded, according to a police official. The attack reportedly happened on a local train near the city of Wuerzburg and that the attacker had a knife and an axe. The attacker fled the train but was shot by the police while fleeing, when the train had to make an emergency stop in Heidingsfeld. There was no indication of the motive for the attack.
Geneva, July16 (ANI): Exiled Kashmiri leaders have criticised Pakistan for not fulfilling its part of the UN resolutions on Kashmir and have said that Islamabad has no right to point fingers at India when it itself remains in violation of the resolutions so frequently. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport decided not to board a flight to Istanbul after news broke that an attempted military coup was underway in Turkey. There were reports that flights were canceled to Turkey but the flights from JFK to Istanbul were still departing as planned. While many boarded the departing flight, some tourists decided to cancel their travel plans.
