Modi said that the presentation by Kazakhstan has left a very impactful impression upon the business delegation from India as they got a chance to see how a country as small as this can progress so fast. He said that there is immense potential between both the countries but better connectivity is required. Modi added that the more cooperation increases between India and Kazakhstan the more it will be beneficial for both nations.

PM Modi lays emphasis on cultural heritage between India and Central Asia

Astana, July 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the gathering at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan's capital Astana. Modi said that Central Asia stands at the crossroads of Eurasia and it has been caught in currents of History and shaped it. Modi highlighted the rich cultural heritage that connects India and Central Asia. He said that heritage is the founding principle of love and devotion and it has always rejected forces of extremism. Modi also said that both countries have a special place in each other's hearts but they have not paid much required attention. He added that in this troubled world, both countries must strengthen their defence and security cooperation to defend their values, national security and region's peace. Further, Modi said that the two countries live close to crucible of extremism and terrorism.

Japan attracting foreigners to boost its tourism sector

Tokyo, July 07 (ANI): Japan is trying to woo foreign visitors by promoting its famous tourist destinations. In a recently held `Visit Japan Asia Travel Mart 2015, an expo organized by the Japan National Tourism Organisation, many Japanese private and public sector representatives interacted with the travel agencies from Asia. Japan has also been promoting Ise-Shima, the home to Japan's most sacred Shinto shrines, where G7 Summit Conference will be held in 2016. The region is popular for its seafood. Gilgit Baltistan, July 07, 2015:- As Human Rights violations go unabated in Pakistan's occupied region of Gilgit-Baltistan, the perpetrators go scot-free due to faulty judicial system in the region. There has been no end to human rights violations by Pakistani security agencies in Gilgit-Baltistan. The perpetrators often go unpunished due to lack of an effective judicial system. The region has a separate court system. Under Gilgit-Baltistan Empowerment and Self-Governance Order 2009, Gilgit-Baltistan Supreme Appellate Court was established with a chief justice and two other judges. PM Modi begins six nation tour, arrives in Tashkent

Uzbekistan, July 6 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent on Monday as part of his eight day tour to five central Asian countries and Russia. During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov and sign key agreements to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. After Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Modi will visit Kazakhstan. Stressing on the importance of India-Kazakhstan relations, the Prime Minister had stated that New Delhi and Astana share a strategic partnership. Prime Minister Modi will then go to Russia to participate in BRICS and SCO Summit at Ufa. After Russia, the Prime Minister will go ahead with his visit to Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Greeks remain deeply divided, fearful in historic referendum

Athens, July 05 (ANI): Greeks cast their votes in national referendum that could decide whether the debt-ridden country accepts EU's bailout deal kicked off on Sunday amid uncertainty. The country's capital Athens along set up 284 polling stations for voters to cast their vote. At a polling station in a campus of a local high school, less than 40 voters came to cast their votes in the first 30 minutes since the beginning of the referendum. Those who are against EU's austerity deal did not give up their last try even at the polling station. Japan promotes tourism with more tourist-friendly initiatives

Tokyo, July 03 (ANI): Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum is a major tourist attraction in Japan.
