Five killed, six injured in accident

Gorachand Samajdar, a constable in the Ghola police station alongwith his family and other relatives were returning to Shantipur in Nadia district after attending a marriage party when their vehicle was hit by another vehicle at Dasmile near Gopalnagar in the early hours of today, the sources said.

Samajdar, his wife, 14-year-old son, six-year-old daughter and brother-in-law died on the spot, they said.

The injured have been admitted to hospital, the sources said adding the condition of the driver of the vehicle was serious.
