Haryana Guv appoints VCs for three universities

On the last day of his term, outgoing Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia today appointed Vice-Chancellors for three universities in the state.
Pahadia, who is the Chancellor of Haryana universities, appointed Major General (retired) Ranjit Singh as the Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University in Jind, according to an official release.
He also appointed S K Gakhar of the Centre for Biotechnology, MDU, Rohtak as the new Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Bansi Lal University in Bhiwani.

Pahadia appointed Professor Asha Kadyan as the Vice-Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University, Khanpur Kalan, Sonipat.
These Vice-Chancellors will each have three-year term, it said.
Meanwhile, R S Sharma, the Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, has been given the additional charge as the Vice-Chancellor of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, the release said.
