Indian Naval Hospital commissioned

It was conceptualised in 2004 to cater primarily to the healthcare needs of INA cadets and trainees, while also rendering comprehensive medical care to the dependent population of the serving personnel and ex-servicemen of Malabar region.
The 60-bed hospital complex, spread over 10,500 sq m and completed over five years, was commissioned by Surgeon Vice Admiral A C Anand, Director General Medical Services (Navy).
INHS Navjivani is a well-equipped facility, having an array of advanced equipment and infrastructure including advanced anaesthesia workstation, a modular operation theatre and computerised radiography.
