Two persons killed over petty dispute

A man, identified as Md. Salim (46) was badly beaten by members of a rival group near Masaudhi halt today and died on way to hospital, Bhagwanganj police station's Station House Officer (SHO) Md. Saidullah said.

The deceased was trying to flee from the village after allegedly shooting his neighbour Deendayal Upadhyaya (32) to death yesterday following a dispute between some children close to the duo, he said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, Saidullah said, adding that an investigation was going on in the murder cases.
