UPTU, Chaudhary Charan Singh University get new VCs

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today appointed Vinay Kumar Pathak and Narendra Kumar Taneja as vice-chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, respectively.

Prof. Pathak, former vice-chancellor of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, Rajasthan was appointed as the VC of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow, a Raj Bhawan release said.

Prof. Taneja, Member of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission from Indore, has been made VC of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, the release said, adding these appointments have been made for a period of three years from the date of assuming office.
