| Taj Hotels mourns death of its employees | |

Tatas-controlled Taj Hotels today condoled the death of 10 of its employees during the terrorist attacks on the hotel and said that adequate compensation would be provided to their families.
"The arrangements are also being made for medical assistance and expenses to support the 11 employees, who were injured in the attacks," Taj Hotels Managing Director Raymond Bickson said in a statement.
Over the next few days, the entire Taj family would be commemorating our colleagues, who gave their lives and a memorial service was also being organised, he said, adding, "We stand together, unified in grief at their passing, and in respect of their honour and courage."
When contacted later, a Taj spokesperson told PTI, "There will be more than adequate compensation for the families of those who have died."
The hotel management also mourned the death of wife and children of General Manager of the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Karimbir Kang. They were also killed during the terrorist attack.
