The company is aiming to have a total of 150 exclusive brand outlets in India by the end of 2009-10, and also seeks to start its exclusive stores under the franchise model in the Gulf region and Egypt.

"We started franchising in 2009 and before that, we were selling our products through lifestyle stores and multibrand outlets. The company is geared up to have 150 exclusive brand outlets in the current year under the franchise model," ToonKidz Managing Director R V Venkat told PTI.

The company has 28 exclusive outlets across India, besides being present in over 30 large format lifestyle stores including Lifestyle and Reliance Trends.

ToonKidz is also seeking to expand its footprints in the overseas market. "In the Gulf region, we have presence in 85 lifestyle stores and are planning to open three exclusive brand outlets. We also have plans to set up six exclusive outlets in Egypt," he added.

He said the company would focus mainly on Class A and B cities for growth in India.
