'Star India staff trained in anti-corruption'

James Murdoch, chairman of Star Group Ltd in Asia, has said to the Leveson Inquiry that after the phone-hacking row last summer, he had led efforts to train employees of Star India in the company's anti-corruption policies. Setting out his efforts to enhance corporate governance in Murdoch-owned companies after the phone-hacking scandal, he said in his witness statement to the inquiry that he personally led efforts in this direction since the summer of 2011.
