Aftek net up 23% to Rs 27 cr

Aftek, formerly Aftek Infosys, has posted a 26.64 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 22.53 crore during the quarter ended September 30, 2006, compared with a net profit of Rs 17.79 crore recorded during the same period of the previous financial year.

The company's total income rose to Rs 789.58 crore, up 34.95 per cent from Rs 585.06 crore recorded during the same period a year ago.

During the quarter under review, the company's net sales were up at Rs 78.71 crore compared with Rs 57.53 crore during the same period last year, Aftek said in a release here on Monday.

For the 12 months ended September 30, Aftek's net sales were at Rs 154.73 crore and net profit was at Rs 59.45 crore. Consolidated sales for the quarter stood at Rs 85.92 crore, while net profits on a consolidated basis were at Rs 23.16 crore.
