Media consulting and marketing company Aidem Ventures today announced its joint venture with the Singapore-based video content management firm eBus Media Network to launch a platform that enables digital distribution of television advertisement.
The digital delivery solution developed by eBus-Aidem joint venture can deliver adverts to broadcasters on behalf of advertisers or agencies within six hours.
"With the expansion and modernisation of the television industry, including digital and high definition, we provide advertisers a much faster and convenient mode for delivering television commercials," eBus Media CEO Carmine Masiello said in a statement.
EBus-Aidemn will be headed by Ajay Verma as the Chief Executive for the new vertical.
"We believe that the future is going to be tapeless and digital delivery of TVCs will be the norm," Aidem Director Kaushal Dalal added.
According to the statement, advertisers or agencies have to send multiple tapes containing different versions of ads to multiple broadcasters across the country which has several risks, including the chance of tapes getting lost in transit.
There could be delays in catching up with material deadlines, multiple copying and lack of security as many unauthorised people have access to the tapes, it added.
