As biz expands, rail major Wabtec eyes exports from its Indian mfg hubs

The global rail major, a third of whose global engineering team is in India, is looking at opportunities in components, digital solutions, track maintenance and electrification

Wabtec Corporation, which has attracted one of the largest foreign direct investments in the railways sector amd whose manufacturing capacity in India has been growing, is planning to use India as a manufacturing hub for exports of diesel locomotives, electric components, and a host of other products.
