Ashok Leyland has reported a 7% drop in M&HCV sales during the month of July.
Total M&HCV sales fell to 8,182 units from 8,835 units, a year ago. LCV sales, however, grew by 4% to 2,310 units from 2,219 units.
Total sales dropped 5% to 10,492 units from 11,054 units.
During April-July 2016, M&HCV sales rose 6% to 32,209 units from 30,288 units a year ago. LCV sales rose 6% to 9,448 units from 8,920 units.
Total sales rose 6% to 41,657 units from 39,208 units, a year ago.
