Astra Microwave Q3 net slips 43%

Its income from operations under review stood at Rs 49.90 cr

Astra Microwave Products Limited, a Hyderabad-based microwave and radar component manufacturer, has seen a 42.77% decline in its net profit to Rs 6.18 crore for the third quarter ended December 2012, as compared to Rs 10.80 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The company’s income from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 49.90 crore, as against Rs 48.91 crore during the same period a year ago, reflecting a growth of 2%.

Astra Microwave’s scrip ended the trade at Rs 40 on the BSE on Wednesday, up 1.65%, over the previous close of Rs 39.35 a share.
