Avesthagen, Danone to extend ties

Avesthagen, a Bangalore-based biotechnology research company, is looking to expand its strategic partnership with Danone, the $20 billion dairy conglomerate headquartered in France. This move by Avesthagen comes nearly five years after Daninvest, an investment arm of Groupe Danone invested in Avesthagen to jointly work on a research focused on metabolic disorders. Villoo Morawala Patell, founder & CMD, Avesthagen said they are exploring various options for the same.
