Bhakta Steps Down From L & T Board

Eminent lawyer M L Bhakta has stepped down from the board of engineering and cement conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T).

Bhakta has had close association with the Reliance group for years, and is a director on the board of Reliance Industries. His firm Kanga & Co is the legal advisor to Reliance Industries.

L&T officials said that Bhakta has not sought his reappointment at L&T
