Bharati Airtel has posted a net profit of Rs 2046.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, registering a growth of 44.86 per cent compared to Rs 1412.92 crore for the same quarter  previous year.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The company's total revenue during the first quarter of financial year 2008-09 stood at Rs 7952.32 crore, reflecting a growth of 39.72 per cent over the same quarter last year. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>Bharati airtels had 7.17 crore subscribers as on June 30, 2008, an increase of 61 per cent over the corresponding period last year. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The company's total market share in India's wireless subscribers rose to 24.2 per cent from 23.1 per cent last year. <BR></P></p></table>
