Bharti Tele-Ventures and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd have signed an interconnect agreement for the Haryana circle as per which revenue accruing from domestic long distance calls will be shared on a 60:40 basis. Bharti will retain 60 per cent of the revenues on calls originating on its network leaving the remaining 40 per cent for BSNL.
In case of international calls originating on the Bharti network, the company will retain 45 per cent of the revenue and part with 55 per cent.
Though Bharti had taken four new basic telephone licences, the company has signed an agreement for Haryana only as it is almost ready to launch its services in that circle in the next few weeks. Interconnect agreements for the other three circles
