Big Bazaar launches first store in Surat

Big Bazaar, the retail hypermarket chain of Pantaloon Retail, opens its first outlet in Surat under its ongoing expansion plan in Gujarat.

Speaking on the inaugural ceremony at Surat, Sadashiv Nayak, head of western zone, Big Bazaar, said, "We are happy to open the first Big Bazaar in the Surat". He further said that the home-makers in Surat will be able to extract the maximum out of their monthly budgets and get all their household requirements under one roof.

The Big-Bazaar outlet is a four storeyed store that provides shopper with over 1,10,000 sq ft of shopping experience. With such a large space, the Surat's Big Bazaar outlet is the largest of its all other outlet in Gujarat, claims the company.
