Big TV CEO Arun Kapoor quits

Arun Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer, of Big TV - the  direct-to-home (DTH) - venture of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, has resigned from the company, said company officials. He joined the group in July this year to head the ADAG's upcoming DTH service.

Prior to that Kapoor was with Zee's DTH company Dish TV where he was working as the CEO. Before joining Dish TV, Kapoor was CEO of Hutchison Essar South Ltd, Punjab Circle.

The DTH market is going to hot up in India. Recently, along with ADAG, Sunil Mittal controlled Bharti had also forayed into the emerging business. Next in the loop is expected to be Indian electronics giant Videocon.
