BPL Mobile offers help to the victims of Kumbakonam tragedy

In the wake of the Kumbakonam tragedy, BPL Mobile, a leading South Indian company, has initiated Idayathilirundu initiative inviting citizens to offer assistance to the victims of the school fire.

BPL Mobile has contributed a sum of Rs 25 lakh towards the initiative. The proceeds collected out of Idayathilirundu, (which in Tamil means 'from the heart') will be handed over to the immediate family of the victims by the end of July 2004.
