Cades partners German firm in long term deal

Product design and engineering services company, Cades, has signed a long-term partnership with automotive seating systems organisation, C Rob Hammerstein (CRH) GmbH & Co KG to develop world class seating systems economically for the CRH customers globally.

CRH manufactures high-grade complete seat structures, adjuster systems for seats, steering columns and variable interiors for the automotive manufacturers whose vehicles are positioned in the medium and premium car sectors.

The deal would enable Cades to extend its engineering services to system suppliers in the auto sector.

Cades has been interacting with CRH since 2006. The engagement began primarily with Design support for CRH. Subsequently Cades signed a global contract for various engineering activities in November 2006.

"We have worked on different customer programs of CRH both on offshore and onsite mode. We are looking at relationship from a strategic point of view. CRH also wants to enter the Indian market as many of its customers are entering the Indian market and would like us to help in engineering support" said Dataram Mishra, MD & CEO of Cades.
