Pharmaceutical major Cipla Ltd has posted a jump of 42.8 per cent jump in net profit after tax at Rs 179.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008, as compared to Rs 125.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

Total income has increased 18.62 per cent from Rs 3,668.7 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007, to Rs 4,352 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008, according to the audited results.</P>
