The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (Cowe), a regional body of women entrepreneurs, is working towards expanding its footprint across the country and abroad.
It has already signed memoranda of understanding to set up branches in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It will be opening a branch in Delhi shortly and eight other states by the fiscal-end.
Cowe stated in a press release on Thursday that it also had plans to go global to help market its members products abroad. Initially, the focus would be on the US, Commonwealth countries and Germany.
In Andhra Pradesh, it had already opened branches at Adilabad, Guntur, Mahabubnagar, Vizag, Warangal and Vijayawada.
