Dabur solves land dispute in Nalagarh

Dabur India Ltd has finally managed to resolve a two-year-old land purchase deal in Himachal Pradesh's Nalagarh town. Previously, local farmers had been unwilling to part with the disputed land, which Dabur has now bought.
Dabur is already in the process of setting up its plant at Nalagrah at a proposed investment of Rs 50 crore and the disputed plot of land measuring about 3.5 bighas was in the middle of the 73 bighas of land Dabur purchased in 2004.
Sources say Dabur has finally purchased this small patch of land and now completely owns the large 77 bighas for the plant.
The company plans setting up its ayurvedic pharmacy here.
The Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh industrial region is drawing the pharmaceutical industry in large numbers, with some of the biggest pharmaceutical brands setting up shop here in the past four years, due to the tax incentives being given by the state government.
