DCSL, Thermax Q1 result

DCSL Q1 net jumps 4-fold
Buoyed by good growth of agri-products and cement businesses, DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd (DCSL) on Tuesday reported an over four-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 21.24 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, compared with the same period last fiscal.

Thermax Q1 net dips 27%
Thermax on Tuesday reported a 27.01 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 46.49 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2009. The company had a net profit of Rs 63.7 crore in the June quarter of 2008, Thermax said in a filing to the BSE.
