Heritage Foods appoints SBI Caps to advise on foreign tie up

Hyderabad-based firm eyes deal with top European company to collaborate on value-added dairy products

Hyderabad-based Heritage Foods Limited will appoint SBI Capital Markets Limited as investment banking service providers and financial advisers for a potential joint venture with a leading European company to collaborate on value-added dairy products for domestic as well as overseas market.

The board of directors of the company at its meeting approved the proposal. The company would be looking at the Indian market initially and would subsequently explore the opportunities for products in the overseas markets, according to company sources.

The proposal is in the preliminary stages, according to them.
