Hindustan Zinc Q2 net dips 2.5% at Rs 935 cr

Udaipur-based Hindustan Zinc has posted a decline of 2.56 per cent in its net profit at Rs 934.95 crore for the quarter ended 30 September compared with Rs 959.51 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company's net sales during the period went 2.62 per cent up to Rs 1,789.59 crore against Rs 1,743.84 crore last year.

 

The earning per share for the quarter stood at Rs 22.13 against last year's Rs 22.70.

 

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company's shares traded at Rs 873.10, down 1.03 per cent at IST 1531.
