Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 3% growth in its total sales for May 2013 at 2,29,006 units.
The company's total sales stood at 2,21,549 units in the corresponding month last year.
Motorcycle sales declined by 4% to 91,283 units in May 2013 from 95,423 units in May 2012, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 9% in its scooter sales at 1,37,723 units from 126,126 units in May 2012, it said.
