Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported a 20.92% growth in total sales at 3,13,942 units for April 2014.
The company's total sales stood at 2,59,608 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.
Motorcycle sales registered a rise of 12% to 1,38,105 units in April 2014 from 1,23,244 units in the same month of the previous year, HMSI said in a statement.
The company also reported an increase of 28.9% in scooter sales at 1,75,837 units from 1,36,364 units in April 2013, it added.
