Sudha Gopalakrishnan, wife of another Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan, has been appointed as the director of The Tamara. She is a trustee of the Pratiksha Trust, a charitable trust that she has set up along with Gopalakrishnan.
Anand Kasturi, CEO and Consultant of Anand Kasturi Consulting, has been appointed as an Independent Director at the hospitality chain.
In his new role, Shibulal, also a former managing director and chief excutive officer of Infosys, will instill the highest standards of corporate governance and excellence, bringing to the board of The Tamara a wealth of previous experiences, the company said in its statement.
The Tamara is led by chief executive officer and director, Senthil Kumar N.
Currently, The Tamara operates in Coorg, Bengaluru and in Alleppey, Kerala. The company is planning to begin construction on its upcoming projects in Thiruvananthpuram and Kodiakanal.
