HTMT Global to foray into Europe

The company is expected to invest over $110 million in this . Currently, the company operates in India, US and parts of Asia. Acquisition is expected be funded by internal accruals, said Partha De Sarkar, CEO, HTMT Global Solutions.

Inaugurating the company second facility in Chennai Sarkar said talks are on with the four UK-based companies who are operating in the non-voice segment.  Each of these target companies have a topline in the region of $50 million.

 

The new Chennai facility spread over at 48,000 sq ft in Chennai will have seating capacity of 1200 seats. This centre will cater both domestic and international clients.

With the launch of this centre, HTMT Global Solutions now has 11 delivery centres across India in Bangalore, Chennai, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Mysore. In addition, it has 10 global centres in Canada, Mauritius, Philippines and USA. The company is now planning to set up a facility in China. The company is also planning to expand into tier-II towns in the country especially South, said Sarkar. HTMT eyeing Coimbatore and Vijayawada to fulfill this plan, he said.

An estimated 85 per cent of revenues for HTMT comes from the US and the rest from Asia -- with India having around 90 per cent share in this. HTMT's profit after tax (PAT) increased almost 200 per cent to Rs 87.41 crore in 2007-08 from Rs 29.28 crore in 2007-08.
