Meta, India (then called Facebook India) hit gross ad revenues of Rs 9,236 crore ($1.23 billion) for the year ending March 2021. That makes the Indian arm of the US-based $86-billion Meta the country’s fifth largest media firm on revenues after Disney Star, Sony-Zee, Google and the Times Group.
