Income Tax Dept raids Kaleesuwari Refinery Oil in Tamil Nadu

Raids conducted in 54 places across Chennai, Madurai,Dindugal and Vellore

The Income Tax (IT) Department on Wednesday conducted raids at Kaleesuwari Refinery Oil Private Limited premises across Tamil Nadu.

Sources said that  raids were conducted in 54 locations across Chennai, Madurai,Dindugal and Vellore. 

According to company's website, Kaleesuwari Refinery's group turnover is estimated to be around $525 million, including trading of branded sales, which is over $357 million.
