India Cements Q3 net dips 51% to Rs 62 cr

India Cements today reported a 51.27 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 61.91 crore for the third quarter ended December 2008.

The firm had a net profit of Rs 127.05 crore in the third quarter of FY'08, India Cements said in a filing to the BSE.

The total income rose 2.58 per cent to Rs 877.78 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 855.74 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of India Cements were trading at Rs 92.80, down 6.92 per cent in the afternoon trade on BSE.
