IndiGo loses another top exec after Aditya Ghosh with Sanjay Kumar's exit

The chief commercial officer will put down the pen on July 15 after 12 years at the helm; William Boulter to take over

Budget carrier IndiGo's chief commercial officer, Sanjay Kumar has stepped down after twelve years at the helm. 

Kumar is the second senior executive to quit the airline after chief executive officer Aditya Ghosh who left IndiGo in April.

Sanjay Kumar has resigned with effect from July 15 to pursue other career interests, the airline announced on Monday. William Boulter, currently chief strategy officer, will be taking over as the chief commercial officer. 

"We are successful at what we do and Sanjay’s contribution has been very significant in getting us to the level we are today," IndiGo's co-founder and interim CEO
