The domestic inverter segment is growing at 28 per cent and currently valued at Rs 5,500 crore.
"The annual volume of the inverter market is about 8 million units," inverter manufacturer Microtek Director (marketing) Vivek Jain said here.
He informed the organised and unorganised inverter markets had 70 per cent and 30 per cent of the market share, respectively. Microtek has a market share of 40 per cent in the inverter space. "In Uttar Pradesh, we have a market pie of 50 per cent," he claimed. The company has a network of 1,800 dealers, distributors and retailers.
