It rained Abbys at Ogilvy & Mather

Ogilvy & Mather did it again. The agency was adjudged 'Agency of the Year' at Abby 2004.
This is its fifth consecutive win at the Abbys. With a total tally of 33 points, consisting of 22 Abbys (six gold and 16 silver), the 'Campaign of the Year' title and 'Best Continuing Campaign' award (both gold and silver), O&M was the undisputed star of the evening.
McCann-Erickson India retained its Abby 2003 position and finished second with a haul of 25 points (two gold, four silver). Leo Burnett India (two gold, two silver) and rmg david (six silver Abbys) shared the third spot.
Leo Burnett made up for last year's poor show by picking up two gold Abbys. While Saatchi & Saatchi India, SSC&B and Yahoo! Web Services helped themselves to one gold Abby each, Enterprise Nexus, rmg david and Rediffusion DY&R improved on their last year's performance.
O&M's midas touch can be largely attributed to the Hutch campaign""the 'network' and 'photo studio' films struck gold in the business products and services category, while the print campaign for the brand won top honours in the same category. The Hutch campaign also won O&M the coveted 'Campaign of the Year' award. The pug-faced pup from Hutchison also took home the Creative Advertisor award at Abby 2004, wagging away competition from Abby regulars Pidilite and HLL.
McCann struck gold with the Coca-Cola 'paanch' film in the beverages & tobacco category and picked up another for its Sweetex ad in the Outdoor category.
The newly conceptualised Brand India category made its debut at Abby 2004. Grey Worldwide, Concept Communication, UBR Inc, and O&M were the winners in this category.
