Jaypee Hydro's Rs 6000 cr project to be commissioned in H2 '10

Private hydro-power producer Jaypee Hydro today said its 1,000 Mw project in Himachal Pradesh would be commissioned in the second half of the next calender year.

"The 1,000 Mw Karcham Wangtoo project in Himachal Pradesh would be commissioned between June and December 2010," Jaypee Hydro Director D G Kadkade told reporters here.

The total cost of the project is Rs 6,000 crore.
