JSW Steel has reported 14 per cent growth  in crude steel production to touch 2.84 lakh tonnes in April, 2008 including the production of Salem works for the corresponding period.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The company also&nbsp; achieved 12 per cent growth in rolled flat products (hot rolled coils and&nbsp; plates)&nbsp; as compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal, to stand at 2.27 lakh tonnes. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>For the same time period, the rolled long products production stood at 0.34 lakh tonnes - an increase of 33 per cent over April, 2007.</P></p></table>
