Jyoti Ltd ties up with Japan's DMW Corp

Vadodara-based Jyoti Ltd. has joined hands with DMW Corporation, one of the leading pump companies in Japan, for manufacturing large pumps for power and irrigation projects in India.

With this collaboration, Jyoti is capable of offering complete cooling water solutions for both thermal and nuclear power stations of upto 1000 MW.

DMW Corporation is a 101 year old highly reputed Japanese company that specialises in manufacturing pumps for nuclear and thermal power projects and large irrigation projects.

DMW Corporation has supplied 360 units of circulating water pump for thermal power plants and 29 pumps for nuclear power plants upto the capacity of 1000 MW.

 

Jyoti has commissioned pumping systems for more than 60 irrigation and power projects including the prestigious 3x500 MW NTPC Aravali Power Project where the largest vertical wet pit type pump was manufactured and commissioned with the capacity of 30,000 m³/hr., head of 27 meters and motor rating of 2800 KW.

Jyoti has also commissioned Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme Phase-II in Andhra Pradesh where the largest Metallic Volute Pump was manufactured and commissioned with the capacity of 25,200 m³/hr and head of 131 Mtrs. and motor rating of 12,800 KW. Jyoti has also executed switchyard projects up to 110 kV.

The company is in the advanced stage of setting up state-of-art test bed with a capacity of up to 50,000 m³/hr and motor rating upto 4 MW which will be ready by the end of August this year.

The company also undertakes turnkey contracts for irrigation, water supply and power projects.
