Kirloskar Brothers gets ASME certifications

Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), received the N and NPT certificates of authorisation from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), for the pump manufacturing. The company also said that KBL is the first Indian pump manufacturing company to attain the certification.

KBL, a fluid management company, is part of the $2.1 billion Kirloskar Group. KBL is a global fluid management solutions provider and the largest manufacturer and exporter of centrifugal pumps and valves from India, claimed the company.

According to the company, N and NPT certification is mandatory for nuclear business in the USA, Canada and other western countries.
