L&T bags orders worth Rs 2,000 crore in March

Buildings and factories business bags largest pie of the orders, worth Rs 1,070 crore

Engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured orders worth Rs 2,004 crore in the month of March, the company said today.

According to the statement issued by L&T, its buildings and factories business bagged the largest pie of the orders worth Rs 1,070 crore in March.

Power transmission and distribution business received new orders worth Rs 389 crore for the construction of 400 kv and 200 kv transmission lines at various locations across the country.

It also received orders worth Rs 347 crore for construction of water supply, waste water and sewerage schemes across the country under its water and renewable energy business.
 

Company secured additional orders of Rs 1,498 crore from various ongoing projects across other business units, statement issued by L&T said.
