L & T Targets Three-Fold Rise In Electrical Wing Turnover

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), the diversified conglomerate, has embarked on a plan to increase the turnover of its electricals and electronics business three fold by 2005.

The company has targeted a turnover of Rs 2,100 crore for the division in 2004-05 from Rs 701 crore in 2000-2001. Sales from the division will be stepped up in a phased manner.
