Mahindra &Mahindra, one of the leading tractor makers in India, is learnt to have zeroed into the mini tractor segment in partnership with Rajkot-based Fieldmarshal group.
Sources close to the development have said that the two firms were in talks about manufacturing small tractors for the last few months and have entered into an pact for the same.
Under the partnership, PM Diesels, the flagship company of the Fieldmarshal group, which is reputed for its diesel engines has developed a 15 HP engine for M&M and the rest of the parts have been provided by M&M. The engine has been developed at Fieldmarshal
