Maruti Estilo in Orissa

The new version of Estilo from the stable of Maruti Suzuki was launched in the Orissa market on Friday, just two days after its national launch.

With this, the car is now available in the company’s showrooms in major cities like Berhampur, Bhubaneswar Rourkela, Sambalpur and Angul across the state.

The new Estilo is equipped with the 998 cc K-series engine and comes with bold new design and interiors, said Rohit Kohili, Area Manager, Maruti Suzuki India Limited. It delivers a superior fuel efficiency of 18.2 kmpl, (as per the claims of the ARAI test results). The BSVI compliant engine makes the Estilo the second car in Maruti Suzuki stable to meet the BSVI norms much ahead of the effective date in April next year. Maruti Suzuki has 50 per cent market share in Orissa and it expects the new model to help it consolidate its leadership position. However, the company has not fixed any sales target for this car in the Orissa market. “The Estilo with new engine and transmission line is sure to delight the customer and we are confident it will add to competitive edge of Maruti Suzuki in compact car segment” said Ashok Kumar Lohia, MD of Lohia Motors.
