Tyre manufacturer MRF Ltd has posted an increase of 72% in net profit at Rs 316.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, as compared to net profit of Rs 184.10 crore posted for the same three months of previous year.
The total income from operations stood at Rs 3361.12 crore during the quarter, as compared to Rs 3147.45 crore for the corresponding quarter of last year, an increase of 6.8%.
During the year ended September 30, 2014, the company has posted a growth of 12% in net profit at Rs 908.3 crore, as compared to Rs 808.61 crore for the same period of previous year. The total income from operations witnessed an increase of 8.8% at Rs 13329.29 crore as compared to Rs 12248.22 crore posted during the same period of previous year ending September 30, 2014.
The company's exports for the year ended September 30, 2014 was at Rs 1332 crore as against Rs 1293 crore for the previous year, said a company announcement.
