Targeting the booming pre-school education segment, Hyderabad-based Anim Graphix New Media has come up with an integrated three-dimensional multimedia system, branded EduMagic.
According to Chandra Bhushan, managing director, Anim Graphix, EduMagic is designed to make learning enjoyable and experiential for kindergarten students, with content covering etiquette, communication and motor skills, traditions and culture, wonders of the world, holiday destinations and general awareness, among others.
Priced at Rs 3.5 lakh for the complete system, it comes with a built-in computer, dual polaroid projectors, a screen, 30 pairs of 3-d spectacles, activity sheets for students and guidelines for teachers. The package would include any new content the company may develop till May 2011.
Anim Graphix chairman AVLN Swamy said the learning impact with the new method was 10 times more than conventional methods.
The company expects to net 100 schools in the next two months, and would focus only on pre-school segment for the next one year, to be followed by classes I -V from next year. It has produced 200 titles or 3,000 minutes of content over the last two years.
It has entered into an alliance with Spectacle Infotek, a BSE-listed education products company, under which the latter would put across Anim Graphix to its 154,000 client base across the country.
